In the summer of 2003 the Phantom Links Golf Course opened for play in west Missoula. It was a new day for a plot of land that served as a cattle ranch since 1869 when the pioneer Gaspard Deschamps came all the way over from Nova Scotia, Canada to establish residence in the area.
Then in 2007 under new ownership the course changed its name to The Ranch Club in order to better reflect the tradition of the land the course was on.
Designed by Les Furber, the championship course meticulously preserves the surrounding natural habitat. Golfers can anticipate beautiful views in all directions while they play on one of Montana’s top-rated courses.
