The ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating Madison Meadows Golf Course grand opening in Ennis was held July 17, 1982. Among other special events for the first day were competitions for closest to the hole, longest drive, and best putting. Since that time the nine-hole course Madison Meadows has provided a fun and friendly atmosphere for the people of southwest Montana.
Designed by Frank Hummel, Madison Meadows has outstanding views of the Gravelly Mountain Range, and is host to what some describe as Montana’s hardest par-5.
