In the late 1980s Matt Martinson and his father Vernon had the idea to take their farmland that was used to growing wheat, barley and hay and turn it into a golf course. Years in the making, the family passion project was finally brought to life in 2003.
One of the newer courses in Billings, the 18-hole EagleRock Golf Course has been a welcome addition to the area. With scenic views of eastern Montana and stunning lake sunsets, the course itself has a rolling layout with long fairways and large greens. Now over two decades old, EagleRock is a course that was made out of love and lots of hard work, and it shows in both the quality of the course and the welcoming staff.
