The Eagle Falls Golf Course opened in 1952 with nine-holes and was known first as the municipal golf course in Veteran’s Memorial Park. A decade later the course had expanded into 18-holes and was renamed the R.O Speck Golf Course in honor of former city park superintendent Robert Speck. Then in 2001, after a couple years of extensive redesign of the course and it was renamed once again to the Eagle Falls Golf Course.
One of the most popular municipal courses in the state, the Eagle Falls Golf Course is a challenging course that regularly hosts events around the state. It’s a well-maintained course that’s also a good spot to bring the family, or to take a lesson or two. Definitely a must stop when visiting the electric city.
