The Buffalo Hill Golf Course in Kalispell started out as a nine-hole WPA project that was completed in 1939. When it was finished the course was considered one of the very best in the Pacific Northwest. In 1978 another Championship 18-hole Arnold Palmer designed course was built, making it one of the few 27-hole courses in the Treasure State. For almost 90 years it has remained one of the most popular courses in Montana, and has frequently hosted a number of high school, college, and MSGA events.
Set in the picturesque Flathead Valley, the Buffalo Hill Golf Course is kept in great shape, and the beauty of the course is matched by the panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains, and an occasional hot air balloon in the sky. Along with the fantastic playing conditions Buffalo Hill has an exceptional staff and one of the largest practice facilities in the northwest. Definitely a must-stop for golfers who find themselves in Kalispell.
