About Bighorn River GC

Hardin residents have been playing golf since the 1920s when the first nine-hole course was built on the grounds of the old Fort Custer. For almost 100 years the Fort Custer Golf Club, as it was formerly named, has served the golfing community in southeastern Montana. And while the course has added nine more holes, and recently changed its name to the Bighorn River Golf Club, it’s dedication to the community and providing quality service has never wavered.

Located next to the Bighorn River, Hardin is one of the most historic towns in the state of Montana. Harnessing the beauty of the high plains, Bighorn River Golf Club also takes pride in the environmental stability of the course, as the club makes concerted efforts to preserve the natural beauty of the area for future generations. For those traveling through or perhaps going to visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield just south of Hardin, make sure to pack your clubs and stop by the Bighorn River Golf Club.
