About Anaconda Hills GC

The Anaconda Hills Golf Course started out as nine-holes in the 1920s in Black Eagle, Montana and was built for employees from the Anaconda Smelter Company. In the 1970s, the city of Great Falls purchased the course and added another nine-holes to go along with changing out the sand-greens to grass-greens. Since then, Anaconda Hills has been a popular golfing destination within Cascade County.

With views of the Missouri River and the surrounding Great Falls area, the Anaconda Hills Golf Course is a rare par 69 course and is known for it’s tree-lined fairways and hilly grounds. A short yet challenging course with a unique layout (consider that the front and back nine holes were constructed fifty years apart), Anaconda Hills is for all types of golfers in the Electric City.
